About the Journal
KASBANA: Journal of Sharia Economic Law is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Sharia, Institut Agama Islam Darul Falah Bondowoso, East Java, Indonesia. The journal serves as an academic platform for exploring and disseminating scholarly ideas, research findings, and critical discussions among researchers, academics, and practitioners in the field of Sharia economic law and related disciplines. The journal's scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: (1) Sharia Economic Law; (2) Islamic Banking and Finance; (3) Islamic Business Law; (4) Zakat and Waqf; (5) Islamic Financial Institutions; (6) Halal Industry and Islamic Business Practices; and (7) Islamic Commercial Transactions and Dispute Resolution.
With a broad and multidisciplinary approach, the journal brings together diverse academic perspectives to examine these fields of study. It publishes original research articles and scholarly reviews covering normative, juridical, philosophical, historical, sociological, economic, and comparative studies related to Sharia economic law, Islamic banking and finance, Islamic business law, Islamic financial institutions, zakat and waqf, the halal industry, and Islamic commercial transactions. The journal aims to become one of the leading platforms for the dissemination of innovative research findings and academic discussions in these areas. Scholars, researchers, and practitioners from various countries are cordially invited to submit their manuscripts to KASBANA and benefit from its open-access publishing model. Novelty, originality, and the timeliness of issues are among the primary considerations in the publication process.
KASBANA was first established in 2021 and has since been published in both print and electronic formats through an open-access publishing system managed using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Beginning with the accreditation period stipulated in the official decree, KASBANA has been accredited at SINTA 5 level by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
KASBANA has been a Crossref member since 2021. Consequently, every article published in the journal is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI). The journal is published biannually in January–June and July–December. KASBANA warmly welcomes high-quality scholarly contributions from academics, researchers, and practitioners whose expertise aligns with the journal's scope and focus.
