This community service activity aims to strengthen the halal economy through assistance in
the implementation of sharia business management in micro businesses in the village of Suling
Kulon. The main focus of the community service is to improve the understanding and
capabilities of micro-business actors in applying the principles of sharia business
management, which include clarity of contracts, business financial management, transaction
recording, and commitment to the halal status of products and business processes. The
community service method used is a participatory approach through the stages of
socialization, training, intensive mentoring, and evaluation. The activities were carried out
using interactive lectures, group discussions, simple financial record-keeping practices, and
direct mentoring at partner business units. The results of the community service showed a
significant increase in the capacity of micro-business actors. Statistically, the level of
understanding of business actors regarding the concept of Islamic business management
increased from 42% before mentoring to 81% after the activities. In addition, 75% of business
actors were able to implement simple financial record keeping separately between business and
household finances, compared to only 28% at the beginning. In terms of the clarity of
contracts and transactions, there was an increase in compliance with sharia principles from
35% to 78%. These results indicate that assistance in implementing sharia business
management is effective in supporting the strengthening of the halal economy and increasing
the sustainability of micro businesses in rural communities.
